Today we finished the play Macbeth. If you were absent please read Act 5 on your own. I also checked the Act 4 Scene 3 work from yesterday and put points in the gradebook for it.
HW: Complete your Macbeth Study Guide. You should have already completed this through Act 3, so you should only have to do the work for Acts 4 and 5. You will need to upload this to turnitin by Mon/Tues.

Today you got new seats.
Then we began Macbeth. You taped the "Questionnaire" into your comp books and answered the questions...then we talked about them. I gave you some information about the background of the play including information about King James I and Shakespeare. Then you read the Pre-Reading handouts and answered the questions, and we talked about them. After that I checked out books to you. You might want to purchase your own copy of the play (any version is fine as long as its the real language of Shakespeare) so that you can write in your book -- this will be tested on the May IB exam. Then we read and discussed Act 1, Scene 1. If you were absent, please read all the handouts and do all the activities as above to make sure you're caught up!
